Retreat Day
Come join us at the Santiago Retreat Center's Bishop's Garden for our annual Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
June 12 we will gather in the Bishops Garden at Santiago Retreat Center to prepare to make / renew our consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. In this 250th year of the United States of America, the Bishops of the United States in unity will lead each diocese in consecrating our country to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. In addition, Santiago Retreat Center is the Orange County location for the World Wide Rosary Relay for the Sanctification of Priests. We will be praying the Glorious mysteries at 12 noon followed by mass. So, if your schedule allows, please join us at 8:30am in the Bishops Garden for prayer, reflection, fellowship.
Guest Speaker: Ana Gmeiner
Lay Missionary of the Sacred Heart of Christ
Ana Gmeiner has served the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Bernardino in various capacities since 1982. For many years, she directed the youth and young adult ministries at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Upland.
She is the founder and president of Su Misericordia Catholic Charity, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the poorest of the poor in Baja California, Mexico.
Ana also founded the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Women's Group and the Men of Integrity Group. She serves as spiritual director for the Lay Missionaries of the Sacred Heart and maintains a private spiritual direction practice.
In recognition of her service to the Church, Ana received the Amar es Entregarse Award from Bishop Gerald Barnes. She and her husband, Danny, were also honored with the Guadalupe Award by Bishop Alberto Rojas.
A sought-after speaker and retreat leader, Ana has presented numerous parish Advent and Lenten missions and has directed retreats for parish staff, youth, and ministry leaders throughout Southern California.
